ITINERARY/SCHEDULE

Day 1: Leh-Kargil

Drive : 210 km

Stay : Guest House

Altitude: 10,500 ft

Pickup visitors from their lodging in Leh, drive to Kargil ( 10,500 ft ) crosswise over astounding Himalayan perspectives, overnight visitor house at Kargil.

Day 2: Kargil – Rangdum

Drive : 126 km

Stay: Camp

Altitude: 13,000 ft

Astounding perspectives of Nun, Kun massifs and rich green glades amid the drive, overnight camp close to the Rangdum gompa.

Day 3: Rangdum – Remala

Drive : 152 km

Stay: Camp

Altitude: 11,900 ft

Drive over the Pensi La at 14000 ft to go into the Zanskar valley. Overnight camp at Remala.

Day 4: Remala – Karsha

Raft: 30 kms

4-5 hours

Stay: Camp

Altitude: 11,500 ft

Boating trip begins with the wellbeing talk. A simple day with class II, III rapids to get used to the high height and in addition to enhance the paddling abilities. Pontoon around 4 hours to camp at Karsha. Climb to the Karsha gompa, or simply laze at the campground. Overnight camp.

Day 5: Karsha – Honia/Pidmo

Raft: 27 kms

Stay: Camp

Altitude:11,000 ft

Pontoon a simple class II, III area to camp at the mouth of the Zanskar pig out. Overnight camp.

Raft: 24 kms

4 hours

Stay: Camp

Altitude: 10,800 ft

Pontoon almost 25 kms of class 3 segment to Neyarak. The stream banks would change into towering mountain dividers ascending to a huge number of feet above you. We would camp at Neyarak town which is one of only a handful couple of areas where outdoors is conceivable in the ravine. Overnight camp.

Day 7: Neyarak – Lamaguru/Chilling

Raft: 35 kms

5-6 hours

Altitude: 10,750 ft

Pontoon around 35 kms through the most profound piece of the Zanskar to achieve Lamaguru which is the intersection of Zanskar stream and Markha waterways. We would arrange class IV rapids in this segment, including the Gate, where the gully limits and crushes the stream to just about 18 ft. Meal break close to a major waterfall which falls from the gorge dividers. Overnight camp.

Day 8: Lamaguru – Nimu

Raft: 35 kms

5-6 hours

Stay: Camp

Altitude: 10,500 ft

Pontoon almost 30 kms of class 3-4 area from Chilling to Nimu. The stream at long last dives out of the gulch to juncture with Indus waterway at Nimu. Our waterway outing would end at Nimu at the conversion of Zanskar stream and Indus. Additionally drive to Leh (one hour).
